Some of the oldest and closest clients of our company are those in Comati PSG. We began working with them by developing the website for their travel agency, and later we designed and programmed their complex transport management software.
The most important project realized together is passenger management program, a very complex project, but also with many satisfactions.The software is a transport tickets reservation website.
Company performs pasangers travel between Romania and the countries of Scandinavia(Denmark,Sweden,Norway etc). For this they needed a system to manage all reservations, to generate new bookings, tickets, passenger lists, statements of receipts and much more.
After numerous discussions in which we tried to understand what we have to realize, we started with a website for booking tickets online. Using the latest technology, AJAX, Javascript, PHP, Mysql, we have developed a web application that launched a trend among transportation companies in Romania. The site displays the possible routes, departure and return dates and prices. The visitors can choose the place in the coach from a 3d personalized image of the coach. Payment can be made online, in USD or Euro, automatically generating a ticket once the payment was confirmed.
The back of the program manages all the booking, and allow the addition of other reservations and tickets that are conducted by telephone. It also generates various reports related to customers, revenues, costs.
One of the innovations introduced by the new web application is that is able to track buses on the map.
The program is also an area dedicated to partner agencies that can make reservations and their commission is calculated automatically.
